I got these to install on a mirror which can slide out of the way. The slides are strong and glide easily even with the heavy weight of a tall mirror on them. They are slow close, so no slamming when shutting or sliding back. I did add wd40 to make sure they rolled the best they could. The slides worked as intended and are good quality.
These 18 inch soft close drawer slides are awesome. I used them for a rollout drawer in my coffee bar and they worked perfectly. The slides operate smoothly and the soft close feature feels really nice. The full extension design makes it easy to reach everything inside the drawer without having to pull hard. They were easy to mount and feel sturdy once installed. The quality seems great, and they handle the weight of all the coffee gear with no problem. I am very happy with how they turned out and would definitely order these again for other cabinet projects.
These slides are buttery smooth. They have two springs and a sound dampening hydraulic piston that supposedly prevents the drawer from being slammed shut. I don’t know how well this works, since I haven’t installed these yet, but I do know these are some of the smoothest slides I’ve ever used.At nearly $20 for a pair of 14” slides, the price point seems about average. You’re not getting a great deal with these, but you get what you pay for, and these slides are worth the every penny.Installation is easy, as long as you have a little passing knowledge and have done this before. They make it easy with the inclusion of a centered back mounting hole - something I’ve seen other slide manufacturers neglect to include. If you’ve never installed drawer slides, that’s okay, they’ve included some rather good instructions, and there’s a ton of short videos online to help you. These really are great slides. I highly recommend them.
Good quality, good price
Easy to install and they work great
We have slowly been converting all of our old drawers to soft drawer closing and these finish up our drawers – yay! They were easy to install, the instructions are very straight-forward and the drawers now close softly and I don’t need to worry about fingers being smashed anymore or drawers being slammed closed. If you didn’t know you had changed it from the original slides, you wouldn’t know it was a replacement.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone. I’d definitely buy again, if needed.
Review for: Furniware 1 Pair 18 Inch Soft Close Drawer Slides Side Mount, 3 Fold Full Extension Ball Bearing Heavy Duty Cabinet Drawer Glides, Quiet Smooth Close Kitchen Cabinet Rails 100 LB Capacity.Supplied through Amazon by the Furniware Store, made in China. These are offered in six sizes, from 14 to 24 inches in length (closed dimension). They come with a well-illustrated instruction sheet and enough screws for installation. The screws are very small, number six by one half inch length. The website listing also offers a rear mount bracket, which can be a help in some installations. These are robustly built side mount slides for use with heavily loaded drawers, and they do have quite a bit of resistance in the first inch or two of opening. Giving the drawer a fairly sharp pull to open will jostle whatever is in it. There is nothing wrong with them, this is just common with soft-close side mount drawer slides and there does not seem to be any “adjustment” that can reduce or eliminate it. The resistance can wear down in time, but these slides do have it.Well built, should last. Recommend.
