I successfully replaced the old European hinges in my kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms with these hinges that are adjustable to make your cabinets not only slow close but look and fit the cabinets better (if you’re patient enough to properly prepare your cabinets and adjust each set of drawers). This takes some time to accomplish, but IMO was worth the effort. You will need some tools to efficiently tackle this project including a screw gun. And I had a few bad hinges among the many (multiple orders) that I ordered so be prepared for that possibility.

Good hinges worked as advertised

I bought these to replace existing hinges that look the same but are not soft close. Be aware that not all hinges are mounted with the same size screws. In our case, the hinges being replaced were mounted with screws that are twice the thickness of the supplies screws with these hinges. We opted to reuse the old screws, which require us to use a drill bit to increase the diameter of the screw hole in the hinge. The second issue you could face is that the new hinge screw holes may not line up with the holes in your door. In our case the holes were about 1mm off. However, we did get the hinges to work without any additional modification. SUMMARY: The hinges mounted just fine, soft close worked as expected and the adjustability allowed us to align the top and bottom of the doors as well as set a nice clean vertical gap line between 2 doors.

This brand is a unique one, you open it at 15 degrees still soft when it closes not just like decobasics full in lay you open it at 15 degrees then release it, it will slammed just like regular hinge that it doesn’t have a brake and I don’t know how the rate Decobasics maybe they just open it in full then they release it and of course it will very soft closing but that’s not what I tested it so they just rate only on one angle. I am giving Decobasics a 3 star cause that’s what I found in this product and Furniware is way better it’s performance so I will rate it 4 1/2 stars and in the future I will buy both again the full in kay and the 3/4 over lay cause they’re dependable all the angles I tested it

I had two hinges fail on one of the Ikea cabinets. These are a great replacement. They worked as they should and the soft close is a nice touch

I have had a chance to test out a number of different cabinet hinges recently… it started with some pricey hinges that I loved, but could not afford to buy in the large quantity that I needed…After trying a half dozen brands and many different types (soft-close, regular, etc etc) I was so thrilled to find these.First, they fit… ie they use the extremely common standard mounting dimensions. (there were a number of my tests that did not - they were rejected immediately since it would’ve meant buying new drills, jigs etc)They function beautifully and come with all of the necessary screws plugs etc etc - they even go as far as having covers (to make them look sleek, even on the inside).Absolutely amazing value
